Dr. Marco Colombini Discusses the Integration of Science and Religion

Dr. Marco Colombini, a biologist from the University of Maryland, spoke to Chesterton Academy of St.

Mary’s students on March 24th . His topic was science and religion and the proper integration of one to

another.

While his talk was intended primarily for our biology students, all students attended the lecture and

discussion. Dr. Colombini, who received his PhD in biochemistry from McGill University, conducts

research on how cell physiology of membrane channels is involved in mitochondria-mediated

apoptosis.

Our thanks to Dr. Colombini for speaking to and meeting with Chesterton Academy students!
