Mass of the Holy Spirit and Grand Opening Celebration ~ Academic Year 2021-22
Chesterton Academy of St. Mary’s held our Mass of the Holy Spirit at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Thursday, September 30, 2021. The beautiful Mass was celebrated by our Chaplain, Father Drew Royals. All of our amazing teachers took their Oath of Fidelity to the Magisterium of the Holy Roman Catholic Church and all Students took their Chesterton Academy of St. Mary’s Student Pledge. The Students led the music and served at the altar and as lector.
Following the Mass, Students, Parents, Guests and Benefactors celebrated our Grand Opening at Chesterton Academy of St. Mary’s in Charlotte Hall, MD. Headmaster, Mr. Andrew Pudysz delivered his comments and shared a great report on the first 3 weeks of the academic year. Philosophy and Biology Teacher Mr. Sonny Ramirez spoke as well.
Two students presented their first impressions of the Academy. Both students were met with a hearty round of applause. Their enthusiasm for the Academy, the Teachers and their peers, as well as, their understanding of the Chesterton model outcomes were spot on. Their impassioned presentation convinced every parent in the room that Chesterton Academy of St. Mary’s was an excellent decision for their student!
